Adoptive Parent's and Birth Mothers

If you are a birth mother who has made the decision to place your baby for adoption, I would like to help you with your birth experience.

As the birth mother, it is so important to be prepared both mentally and physically for giving birth and knowing what to expect of your body when you leave the hospital. I would be happy to meet with you and discuss the ways that you could benefit from having a doula to give you the attention and comfort you will need throughout the birthing process and post-partum.

Most birth mother's who are placing their baby for adoption need extra support and understanding during and after their birthing experience. A doula can be that person to provide a neutral environment to provide you with the following:
  • Availability to answer your questions about the birthing process; natural or drug-assisted (epidural)
  • Birthing assistance throughout your labor and delivery at the hospital or birthing center
  • Post-partum check-up and assistance in helping you prepare for your milk to come in and how to best keep you comfortable during that process
